ECOM READY (“ECOM READY,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Venice Dela Cruz, provides digital commerce services to clients worldwide. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you visit this website, submit an inquiry, book a call, or otherwise communicate with us.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you use our inquiry form or contact us directly, we may collect your name, business or niche, Facebook, Instagram, or other social links, email address or other contact details you include, and the contents of your message. If you become a client, we may also collect the information reasonably needed to prepare a proposal, communicate about the project, deliver services, and maintain business records.
Technical information. Our website and hosting provider may automatically receive limited technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and security or server logs. This information is used to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the website.
How we use information
- To receive, review, and respond to inquiries and quote requests.
- To schedule discovery calls and communicate about potential or active projects.
- To provide, manage, improve, and secure our website and services.
- To maintain appropriate business, contractual, accounting, and legal records.
- To prevent spam, misuse, fraud, or other security issues.
- To comply with applicable law and protect our rights or the rights of others.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we process personal information because you asked us to take steps before entering into a contract, because it is necessary to perform a contract, based on our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the business, with your consent where required, or to meet a legal obligation.
Cookies and similar technologies
The public-facing website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for security and basic functionality. WordPress may also use login and preference cookies for authorized website administrators. We do not currently use this website to sell personal information or for automated decision-making. If we later add non-essential analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies, we will update this notice and provide any consent controls required by applicable law.
Third-party services and links
We use service providers that may process limited information on our behalf or under their own privacy terms. These may include our WordPress hosting provider, email provider, website-security services, and other vendors necessary to operate the business.
Our website links to Calendly for appointment scheduling. If you choose to book a call, Calendly will collect the information you submit on its platform under the Calendly Privacy Notice. This website also requests the Montserrat and Inter font files from Google Fonts; your browser may transmit technical information such as your IP address to Google when those files load. Google’s handling of that information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Links to client websites, social networks, and other third-party websites are provided for reference. We do not control their privacy or security practices, and their own terms and policies apply when you visit them.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it only with team members and service providers who need it for the purposes described above; with professional advisers when reasonably necessary; to comply with lawful requests or legal obligations; to protect safety, security, and legal rights; or in connection with a business reorganization, subject to appropriate safeguards.
International processing
Because ECOM READY serves clients worldwide and uses online service providers, information may be processed in the Philippines and in other countries where we or our providers operate. Privacy protections may differ between countries. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Data retention
We keep inquiry and communication records only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, assess a potential engagement, provide services, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the nature of the relationship and the information involved. When information is no longer required, we will delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. However, no website, email system, or method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have the right to ask whether we process your personal information; request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy; object to certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some rights may be limited by legal exceptions.
To make a privacy request, email virtualalliesph@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” If you are in the Philippines, you may also learn about data-subject rights or submit an appropriate complaint through the National Privacy Commission. Individuals in other jurisdictions may contact their local data-protection authority.
Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services, or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
